J & F labs, the developer of the Coris ECS line of products, was established in 2006 to commercialize electrical control and switching technologies that the founders had developed in the course of designing and deploying remotely controlled video surveillance systems for various law enforcement agencies (federal, state and local).

The CORIS ECS family of Internet controlled electric switches was developed in conjunction with major universities to reduce the electrical consumption of appliances that plug into wall outlets (air conditioners, water coolers, vending machines, PCs, etc.) as well as light fixtures and other hard-wired appliances. Through two years of field testing, the CORIS ECS products have evolved to allow single commands to simultaneously control multiple CORIS devices in multiple locations, both on demand and on a scheduled basis.

J & F Labs continues to design, install and manage video security systems, as well as custom wireless networks and access control systems.
